3 8x10 on the bottom and 2 11x14 and 1 16x20 and it does not feel like it overpowers the wall.
So I have been busy trying to decide with the 100′s of images of Ivy and Ava – I really wanted to do something bright and cheerful in their playroom. I have some other ideas that I will be working on in our kitchen as well in the next few weeks. The best way to decide what to do is really look at the space and what images you want to use – don’t be afraid to go big and don’t just put up small frames – mix it up or go with all big – I like groups of 3′s but really you have lots of possibilities. For my clients if there is something you want me to look at with your session please let me know – You can really do this for easily yourself and I am here to help with layouts – one hint for me with this wall was find the frames first – since I knew it would need to be different sizes and I wanted them to all be the same type of frame I was more limited. I found these at Micheal’s on their 50% off frame events – I had the prints printed on styrene with a linen finish (all things that you can order from mpix.com I decided to take out the glass since I had put them on styrene and had them protected with a luster coating as well. It looks great and is perfect for the colors in their playroom. There are a ton of things you can do with your cd of images and this is just one example. Feel free to contact me anytime about your wall ideas!
Here are just a few more from that session and of course one from this week of a few in one of my favorite outfits of Ivy’s.
