Kate – part 1 | Minneapolis Newborn Photographer

Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday weekend!  Ava and Ivy went on the great egg hunt at my aunt’s house!   The Easter Bunny hides 300 eggs (30 for each grandchild – all different colors – 30 pinks, 30 blues, 30 greens)  That way as the kids get older they can’t scoop up all the eggs before the little ones even know what hit them!  Ava looks forward to it every year!  But on to baby Kate!

Part 1! So I decided to do a two part blog post here – I just loved working with this family – we did a home session and a small part at the studio – first I am going to show you the studio ones – I am just in love with these – I was able to try a few new wraps but more importantly I think I was able to capture Kate just as newborn and some GORGEOUS pictures of her and her mama!  I really enjoyed my time with Kate and her mom!    I love the ones of her just on the bed – especially where she was stretching out her hand!  It just made me smile:)  You can tell spring is in the AIR!  There have been a lot of changes to Jen Taylor Photography – starting with the new studio!  But more to come and I just feel like spring just brings on newness to everything and I am pretty happy right now with how can things work out!!  I can’t wait to be outside again too!  I had my first outside session this past week so more on that later this week!

Evan – 6 months | Minneapolis Baby Photographer

Evan was such a good little guy for me for his 6 month session!  Last time I saw him he was a newborn -his parents and I reminisced about his newborn session : )  It was HOT – in October and of course on the Day of 6 month session in March it was HOT again!   He was all smiles for us and his parents did a great job getting him to smile and showing off his personality.  Maybe his 1 year will not be as HOT!  But then again this year of weather makes us question everything!

Eddie | Plymouth, MN Newborn Photography

Eddie was my first little one at the studio and he made it sooo easy!  So did his parents – he slept the whole time but he made some adorable faces!  He was also the best pouter ever!  He would stick out his bottom lip when I moved him to a new spot – it was just tooo cute!   Here are just a few of my favorites but there were sooo many that I just loved!

Natalie | Minneapolis Newborn Photography

I met Miss Natalie a few weeks ago at her home and she was just so sweet and sleepy:)  I learned after arriving at their house which happened to be a total of 4 minutes away from my house – easy commute, that they had looked at a same house as we did on our current block almost two years ago!  So we were THIS close to being neighbors!!     We were in agreement about the house we both looked at and did not choose as to why it was not a good fit for either of us at the time.  Hint to those selling your house (we both remembered that there were a lot of cobwebs in the basement!) to vacuum is a necessity!  We also had some good conversation about our neighborhoods in how similar they are with neighbors that are older with children already out of the house or soon will be.    I also know what both Natalie’s mom and I will be doing in about 40 years with our homes (I had to throw that in there for Natalie’s Mom – she knows what I referring to!)

How about some pictures of sweet Natalie!  Thank you again for the lovely session and hope to see you at the park one day!

Isabelle & Abigail | Minneapolis Child Photographer

Hello Monday!!!  You might have noticed a few changes to the blog!  Yep – with spring in the air I felt a little need to change things up for a bit -  I got a ton done this weekend to help streamline my business and my time!  It was a very refreshing and productive weekend!  A huge THANK YOU to my husband for taking the girls out and about this weekend – he took them to the zoo (on a Sunday) and survived!   He is much braver then I:)  Let me know what you think of the new look and colors!

Well on to the pictures – here are two of the most adorable girls!  You have seen them before on my blog and website but here they are one year later and they have grown so much!  I am soooo jealous of their hair – so gorgeous!  Miss Abigail is now 2!! (and yes she has that look!!  I loved her eyes and her serious looks even though Mom says she smiles all the time!!)   And Miss Isabelle is almost 7 and was soooo easy!   Same as my two little ones!  I had fun and I think they did too!
