My Friend, Lauren

When my friend Lauren, told me she was moving this summer to go pursue her dreams of grad school, I thought she was nuts!  Okay Lauren, just kidding.  I admire anyone who goes after their dreams especially in these uncertain times.   It takes a lot of courage to take that leap in life.  Change is hard for everyone but in order to learn in life change has to happen.  Lauren and I go back a few years.  I was actually her manager for a short time in my previous work life.  She is so smart and driven in everything she does.  She even volunteered one time to babysit Ava one night!  You will have to ask her about that as it was a little on the funny side.  I also apologize to Lauren’s Mom if watching Ava has put any second thoughts of ever having children.  (let’s just say Ava was not being a little angel that night :)  We will certainly miss Lauren dearly and hope she does come back after she is done unless of course she meets the man of her dreams and he is not crazy enough to live through a MN winter!  At least I can go visit her the next 2 years in the warmth of North Carolina!  Thank you again Lauren for being such a great friend and may all your dreams come true!
