This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Elmer. Elmer is being trained as a service dog and the family that is training him had called me to capture some images of Elmer before he graduates from training and go to his new home. This was my first time really working with dogs (other then my own and some friends) so I said from what I know have lots of treats on hand. Mom really wanted to capture some interactions with Katie (who is an absolute joy and quite the talker!) and Elmer as they are just best buddies! Mom has done a wonderful job in training and I am sure whomever he may go to is going to receive a wonderful companion. I am sure this family will miss him but it helps that he will be helping others.
Love her eyes and the swing was a perfect spot for her.
These were just a few of my favorites. There was a bee by me on the one on the right but it caught his attention for me!
