As promised here are a few on Ava’s birthday where she decided to give me some of her best faces.  It is pretty rare here that she will let me take pictures so I jumped at the chance.  I still need to do a little session with her for her 5th birthday especially before this baby comes since we are on the countdown for our new arrival!!  (I will do a post soon about this pregnancy….)  Ava has been asking to take some of the pictures so maybe this weekend.  Just a little nervous about handing her my camera… I do have insurance on it :)

Ava turned 5 this weekend and wow did we celebrate!  On Friday her actual birthday she got to bring cupcakes to preschool and Matt read a story to her class as a special treat.  Then I took her for a little shopping at the MOA and of course a few rides and we topped it off with dinner at the Rain forest Cafe!  She loved it!  Saturday was filled with a Princess Birthday Party with all of her friends (she wanted girls only this year) so it was 11 five year old all dressed in their favorite costumes.  It was great since it was not at our house so they were able to run in the gym and of course the bouncy house was the best.  A “real” princess was there and Ava asked her what her name was, her reply was Jean Marie.  To which Ava responded “I don’t think I have your movie yet”  It was just perfect!  Here is just one for tonight and tomorrow I will post a few of her funny faces!

I am so excited to see the new line in person and offer the show to all my clients.  The clothes are so cute and adorable and are always on the “What to Wear” list for pictures.  They are great choices for portraits for your little girl either indoors sessions or outside at a park or in a field.  Plus they are comfortable and offer lots of textures and patterns so you can mix and match with things you already may have for your girl.

It has been almost 1 month since I truly took my camera out and I missed it tremendously.  But I did realize it was hard to do some of the shots with a much bigger belly plus the baby was kicking up a storm!!
