A little time with Ava | Minneapolis Child Photographer

When you start and end a 20 minute session with the two images below you know there has to be a few in between that you will love.  Since moving to the house I haven’t been outside much checking out the yard.  I knew it was going to be wonderful and magical but after this weekend I had no idea just how much I would love it even more.  I can’t wait to catch Ivy’s milestones in this yard.  I convinced Ava (bribed) to do a little 20 minute session with me outside if she would wear what I picked out (Matilda Jane!) and we had to do it Friday night after her haircut.  The pictures with Ivy were taken in the morning and her hair was crazy so we went in for a trim (more like 2 inches of curls) but I love it right now.  All of these images were down in our yard and I can’t wait to use this fall for mini sessions!  Or any other sessions for that matter.  It was just nice to spend some one on one time with Ava as that has been rare since the arrival of Ivy and then the whole moving to the house.  She has had the summer of change with leaving her home that she spent the first 5 years in, to a new town, new baby sister, and then Kindergarten this fall…  no wonder the peanut gallery is louder then usual from her….  so much but she does love this house so that has been the easiest transition so far!  Well be prepared for a lot of images to view – most of the poses are her idea of a pose (holding flowers to her head is all her)

This was in the first 2 minutes and I could have stopped right there - I have not been able to get this magical moment from her since she was 3 - the older they get the more aware they are of you.
